Maybe a spot in a floor here or there. A pristine tailgate is worth 3-500 bucks all day and that’s what you’ll have to pay for one if you don’t luck out on one from someone’s backyard. Jim

Don’t get discouraged. I think the first one you found would’ve made a decent project and the rust didn’t look that bad to me but $1500 seemed high.
