I came across this over on another forum, I have never seen this particular 6x6 FSJ before. Its neat, although I am thinking it does not have low range with the drive shaft setup that it has.
Also, the guy that wrote the article over at Jalopnik obviously doesn't know his AMC V8's from his ChryCo V8's
I swear I've seen that before and it was tan. I think it does have low range, but I don't know what t-case that is. Since the front and most-rear drive shafts are in-line, it means both are powered by the chain-driven side of the t-case. I'm betting it's some franken-case based on the NP203, and one of the chain-driven axles is disconnected in a hi-range mode to prevent binding.
EDIT>>> I just did a quick search and found a tan 6x6 cherk and I'm prettyt sure it's the same one. I'm convinced I've seen it here or the motherboard with the goofy windows and extra lights, but when it was still tan.
79 J-10 (Honcho Mucho) KE0LSU
304/Performance Fuel Injection TBI/MTA1/SP2P/Magnum rockers
T18/D20/D44s&4.10s/33" Mud Claws
Grizzly Locker Rear
4" front spring drop, 5" rear shackle flip
Chevy style HEI (ECM controlled)
Dolphin "Shark" gauges in a fancy homemade oak bezel
3/4 resto, rotting faster than I've been fixing it.
This is a flashback for me but I can't remember the builder name or member ID over on the mothership. I have tortured so many brain cells since then that it is only a vague memory.

Ah, I bet you are right on the t-case. It could be an NP205 with a custom shaft that slides through for the front and rear outputs.
I remember when they posted that one on facebook. The writer is a self proclaimed FSJ lover and said it was the chrysler 360. EVERY comment on the post was that it was an AMC 360
