So did it work like you expected? Did it just bolt on and the engine run?

yes it ran fine, but starting was not perfect. as no instructions were given with it, i wired it at the alternator (which is a wrong place from what the seller said), and i noticed that the choke plate wasn't closing fine, so i made some some adjustements and now have to reinstall it. will keep you posted

sounds great, but the idle seems a tad tad high, id drop it down 100rpm

carb installed. it little hesitates or misses when throttle is wide open quickly after a few seconds idling. it does this only at the first wide open throttles otherwise after it runs very fine
any idea ??

air leak at intake ? need to adjust the volume and rate of discharge from the accelerator pump ?

do you use silicone gasket sealant between carb , spacer and intake ?
