The main difference between the W250 60/70 axle combo and the 2nd gen 60/80 axle combo is that the W250 truck has a passenger side pumpkin/drop for the driveshaft and the 2nd gen axles are a drivers side drop. You need to decide what tranny/xfer case you are going to use and then get the right front axle for it or the other way around.
I have both a 91 dodge w250 6BT/getrag 360 intercooled truck and a 79 international scout I run a 95 cummins 6bt /4500 on the 2500 frame and 60/80 axles for reference. You picked the simplest motor to wire up. I've also owned a 95 7.3 powerstroke and it was the worst truck I've ever owned. Great motor, but they made it way to complicated. Any time you have to replace a valve cover gasket to get your glow plugs to work someone has made it way too complicated.

The frame has quite a bit of rust on it, nothing critical just surface rust. I'm definitely going to get it media blasted. I'm also going to box the frame in. My sin and I have been in the garage learning how to weld before we start doing anything to the frame.
