Time for a new timing cover?

Post by swanny1911 »

I pulled my timing cover off and noticed some cracks on the inside. They do not appear to go all the way through. Are these just casting cracks? Should I replace the timing cover?

Thank you.

looks like casting, check the bottom one 6:30 to make sure that there is no flaw on the front side

I've seen others that look like that, too. I'd also suspect it's from the casting.
