Tailgate motor wiring

Hello All with my first post!
Im from Finland and i have 76 Wagoneer which i have to fix with your good advices!
(Sorrry my bad english)

There is plenty of that good advices, but i found some error about tailgate wirings and testing.
76 MODEL Motor has two contacts which are up+ and down+, not + and -.
-ground is in motor body.

So if you need to test motor place -minus in motor body and plus+ in motor connector, one is up and another one is down.
EDIT This is my 76 model, i heard later models has different system.
My tailgate was stuckked and i found many reasons:
broken wire in fuse box, broken wire between body and tailgate, bad connections.

Now its working!
