Are those actually 35x10.5x15, or is that a typo? I've been looking everywhere for an MT or AT that size, and they don't seem to exist. What brand are they?

Thanks!

So are they 10.5" wide, or 12.5" wide?

Thanks.

BTW, just saw your PM. That's great info too, thanks.

Here is my last wagoneer. 3-3.5" rough country lift, with 35" bfg a/t's. Rubbed the leaf springs at full lock pretty bad with the stock wheels. But tucked into the wheel wells pretty good.

I am going to assume that him saying its not a typo, is in fact a typo :) Those tires are 12.50's, not 10.50's like he stated above.

Thank you Stuka. Yes the tire size is 35x12.5x15. Sorry for the confusion.

I finally got around to trimming for my 33s. Cut the bottom of the rocker flush with the next layer of sheet metal. Then marked a straight line (curved to the body) to the trailing edge of the rocker panel. cut it back and voila... no more bent sheet metal.

Image
i cut perpedicular outward from the end of the 2nd layer of sheet metal.

Image
i used a piece of tape to make this "straight" cut line.

post cut and non-matching paint

The offending piece

Final result with tire back on.

Will update with results after next wheeling trip.

I can try post pics of my "stealth trimming" that was done by the previous owner. But in the back its exactly like rainman did. Its pretty much NOT noticable to anybody who isnt looking for it. Mine also has the corners of the front fenders chopped as well.

I cant tell you the last time i felt or heard it rub.

Backspacing makes a big difference though, when i had 8" wide wheels it rubbed all the time.
Well it ain't just the smoke and the traffic jam that makes me the bitter fool I am But this four-wheel buggy is A-dollaring me to death.
For gas and oils and fluids and grease, And wires and tires and anti freeze....And them accessories, Well honey, that's something else.

I just purchased 5 33x10.5x15 BF KO 2 tires with pro comp 69 wheels for $999.70 after rebates, out the door at Discount Tire. Fell into a great Grand Opening only special. $100 off 4 tires, $100.00 off 4 wheels, and then double rebate offer if I used their credit, 9 months same as cash. I just could not pass that one up. I hope to sell my 31's to recoup another half that.

Anyway, discount tire has their BF KO 2 33x10.50x15 right now for $159.00 ea. That is cheaper than the KO 2 31x10.5x15. Heck of a deal even without rebates.

Slightly related, I put some KO2's on the family truck (04 Sierra, 265/75r16) and so far I've been thrilled with them dirt and hard rock traction has been nothing short of amazing. The little bit of mud I've encountered has been shed from the tread with ease. And they feel way nicer on road than the KO's I drove on a similar truck a few years ago. No snow yet except for deep drifts of old large grain snow that's been around awhile. They were excellent. On par with the more aggressive Cooper ST tires on the Cherokee. On road winter traction is as of yet untested but no hydroplaning complaints from me, my biggest beef with the KO's was that even nearly new they SUCKED in the rain. Same size. Heavier truck. Sucked. But we got very wet roads day before yesterday and the KO2's were unphased.

After a day of the Jeep royally kicking my butt, all I can offer is sorta a teaser pic. Just one rear spring partially installed and no weight on the vehicle.
Sorry. Hopefully better coming tomorrow.

You, there, scrolled back and couldn't find the spec's of what you were doing. Could've missed it though, long night last night.
