Fantastic color! As someone who spent a lot of time hanging around in a dealership shop, I think you'll be happy with it. The only time I saw one in overnight was for a recalled backseat.

That Green is awesome! Now having mine for about 5 months I still think it is great, does well in snow (tested a few times) and handled long travels great. The back cargo area is a little small for the vehicle size but its larger than the Patriot so its still a win. The power liftgate is neutral with me. I didn't specifically want it, but I wanted the remote start and they came in the same package. Lots of places list them as cautions for used car market but I'm not concerned. Looking to put on the Hazard Sky lift (1") and slightly larger tires but nothing too crazy. Overall, would buy again without hesitation.

We're already over 100k, so it's proven to be just as reliable as any other transmission.

You ever look around at how everything and everyone around you sucks and think, "maybe it's me that sucks"?

I mean, you dig up an old thread to poop on a car you don't now, nor ever have owned, as if some person you've never met having the misfortune of a transmission failure would somehow enrich your life. Is that really what you want the people on this board to go through? Will me or Reno, or one of the other KL owners losing a transmission really make you happy? Since you had a Renegade (and it wasn't even a trailhawk, was it?), Would one of us having problems with a different transmission in a different car really validate your animosity?

You need to stop with this. I rather not lock this thread because of you trolling. There is no reason to dig up this thread just for spite.

The Renegade has the same exact transmission as the Cherokee. The Trailhawk just got a different final drive ratio, otherwise the same exact transmission.

That POS transmission turned my Renegade into a giant turd. I hated driving it. I was so glad to get rid of it.

CSUENGR-You had a bad experience with a car, that sucks, and you got rid of it for a vehicle you like. That is a good thing. You have made your views known for people to take or leave.

Now since this was dug up, I know use mine as a DD with the new job. I've got new Cooper Discoverer tires (265/65) as well. Usually one day a week after work instead of turning onto my street I just jam up to the hills behind the house and cruise around for a bit. Zero articulation but lots of skid plates so it kind of evens out lol

Just rolled over 9k miles still smells new. Enough room for day trips with the GF and kids, though not really for camping with all of us. Ah well that's just an excuse to take Susan anyway...

GF just purchased a 2008 Commander Overland with the hemi about a month ago after her exploder died. Really jealous of all the cool stuff on there but not having a car payment is bomb so I'll suffer on. ;)

So, everyone still liking theirs? I'm considering one that is nearing 100K on the odometer. Priced a tad high but it does have EVERY option for a 2016. Found another that has about half the miles but with fewer upgrades, for the same price, as well but, the seats alone, have me leaning toward the higher mileage KL Can't afford to drive to both towns and test-drive, so, is it worth looking into lower miles, or would I be safe to pick the one I want more?

I still love mine, great car. I'm always a little leery of 100K used cars because that's right around when major maintenance items are due/past due. Were these done? Are they about to fail? WHO KNOWS!?
Which trim levels are you looking at? 50K miles on a 4 year old car is about standard use, 100K is well above standard use. I'd be a little worried it was run hard and used hard.

Both are Trailhawks. The tires on the lower mileage one look pretty bald for the miles they have. The higher mileage one has newer tires, and is a one-owner vehicle. 100K in WY is pretty standard for four years old. It's a 150 mile trip just to test-drive it. Guessing I'll just have to push the length of said test-drive to the max before I make a decision.

The lower mileage one is 240 miles away. I don't want one if it's not a Trailhawk, so, yeah... I'm being a little picky, for once.

Oh yeah, I guess mileage would be a little higher up there LOL Are they both 3.2L? The 4-banger is not enough grunt in the trailhawk. Probably ok for the Lattitude but yeah...

I mean, it says Cherokee on it. In a couple places. The registration says Cherokee. The Title says Cherokee. The insurance card says Cherokee. I mean, I'm pretty sure it's a Cherokee. I'll go check again though hold on...
Yeah, no, I checked again to be sure and it still says Cherokee. It's not a Full Size Cherokee, no, but doing a quick scan of the thread and it appears this is in the "General Other Jeep Related Chat" so I think its in the right place...

People said the same thing when the FSJ came out ("CJ is the real Jeep!"). And again when the XJ came out ("It doesn't have a full frame!"). And again when the JK Unlimited came out ("It has four doors!").

Well, after being laid off in March, I didn't think this would happen but, I got offered a job I didn't even apply for, last month. So today, I went and picked this up:
