Just picked this up to replace the wife's dying Patriot.

From what I found out, thats a Mopar bull bar and taillight guards and are pretty rare. I posted photos on a FB group and had a few people ask if I would sell them!

The Commander got a bad rap for being a boat, we think it drives great. I was surprised how similar the dimensions are to the Wagoneer, even the windshield angle and size is about the same.

Here's to this one lasting (knock on wood)

I've always liked the Commanders. Does that one have 3rd row seating under that mat in the back? I'm hoping Jeep brings out another 3rd row Family Truckster (new Grand Wagoneer!) before my wife and I start buying kids from foster care (I want my own Girl Scout Troop, but I don't want a pregnant wife again. :P )

Yep 3rd row. Is the base model but the PO (original ower - OO) ordered it with the rear HVAC controls.

It's got the heavy duty OEM roof rails, but they Looks kinda giant Probably going to swap those out for the thinner ones.

I really want to get a Commander to replace my wife's 09 Liberty! I have heard about the bad rap too... my wife usually doesn't like the way they look but we saw a lifted one the other day and she thought it looked really nice. I agree the leveling kits or mild lift kits really improve the stance... maybe once I land a Wagoneer we can work on getting her a Commander.

Which engine does it have? Going to guess 3.7?

Yep, 3.7
Which is only slightly more fuel efficient than the 4.7
