It's beautiful, really BEAUTIFUL, but it is not 'ONLY NOS'. There are all kinds of non original parts on that jeep.

But it is Beautiful.

I think they billed it as "mostly NOS" in the build thread haha. Ebay seller is exaggerating a bit with "only NOS". But still an incredible work of restoration.

Yep looks more like a resto-mod, i guess that they didn't keep the original gold rims because they are not wide enough for these big tires

Definitely a resto mod, that's quite a lift/tires/wheels combo. Tires look like 35x12.5 R15? The NOS bits make up the interior, quadratrac, grill, etc.

It's not mine, it belongs to sportsidedan: http://www.ifsja.org/forums/vb/showthread.php?t=136574 You can find more details on his build in that thread.

I believe he used a 6" lift with tire size 35x12.5 r15

My golden eagle is still on stock leaf springs at the moment, but I think they came with a 2" lift out of the factory?

How would you say this compares in terms of value vs. some of the ~ 40k Wagonmaster offerings???

Too much for me either way , but which is a better buy for the conspicuous consumer???

Have you looked at sportsidedan's build threads? He tears them completely apart, blasts and galvanizes the frame and body, everything is rebuilt/replaced with new..his restorations are amazing..wagonmaster has nothing on him...

It's a steal considering the prices that guy in Texas is asking. And this truck actually has been restored and improved. Not just "refreshed".

Worth the $$, IMHO. I just don't have the money. LOL!

This is the key to body survival, all those roof rails are pretty rusty. Sand blasting every nook and crannies is the key....

Wagonmaster doesnt even mess with the old suspension.. I called them and asked and he said they dont touch it.. So TBH any wagoneer thats aover 25-30k is overpriced in my opnion but thats just me..

I like that this Jeep is Galvanized though.. thats ultimate rust protection there.. ZJ's were galvanized on the entire bottom and thats why they rarely ever rust out
