I need to install a radio antenna and cable. From what i understand it is a PITA. Anyone have any tips for me? I found a decent selection of antennas at advance; anyone pick up a generic as opposed to the one on bj's/TGW?
Not bad, make sure that you do not drop or loose the grommet above the inside air vent. If you have a/c a bit harder. You pull the grommet then the antenna enough to attach a fishing string for the new antenna cut the antennna wire from the old antenna. Attach the new antenna wire to the fishing string. Pull the string while an attendant hold the antenna so nobody get poked in a vital organ.... and if you are lucky you can retrieve the antennna wire plug thru the hole.... fishing clamp can be useful to thread the plug....
nvm???? I need a new antenna, that china made replacement did not last 1year before the chrome started to rust. The ooem lasted oved 25 years until a bear pulled it down to bite the 76 orange ball....huuuuummmm nice berry!
