Black Bumpers

Post by pyro »

I'm in the process of sanding down my front bumper and was just curious if anyone has painted their bumper black. I am debating spraying some plasti-dip on it to check out the look. Any pics are appreciated. BTW this anodizing is a PITA!!! I may just have it powdercoated silver but i'm not sure of the outcome as they cant do chrome.

Please take pics, I was thinking of sanding the anodizing off mine and having it powder coated, just not sure how it would look.

Mine aren't factory they are custom built & powder coated in black wrinkle but it would give you an idea of what it looks like.

I painted my rear bumper black and I liked the look. I didn't sand it down though so the paint has been flaking off. I will build a custom rear bumper anyway, but I think black stock bumpers do look nice if the truck itself is a dark color and doesn't have a lot of chrome.
