Doohickey

Post by Wagy »

About to embarrass myself here...

Does anyone know what the rubber strap is that's attached inside the right B pillar? I'm thinking slingshot...

It is used to hold the back seat when it is folded up against the back of the front seats. There is a small post on the seat frame it hooks to. Most of them seem to have rotted away on the 70s models.

Wow, two answers with one question! Now I know what that post is for on the seat bottom too.

Tried it - works great.

Thanks, Flint

That's what the b-pillar post is for! I saw the random slingshot thing in the bucket of parts and I too couldn't figure out for the life of me what it was for!

I need to keep up with the board more!

So that's what that thing is?
I figured some it was some spanking thing so I didn't ask about it when the lady sold me this rig.
