BJ's Cliffhanger rear bumper

Post by Gilgar »

I've ordered the bumper and realize that I have to get it painted or powder coated. Any suggestions as to the best way to get this done? Any other suggestions as to what I should get it coated/painted with?

Thanks,

You can use spray on bed liner. That way touch ups are easy.

I'm a fan of powder coating. Much more durable than spray on bedliner. It might run you upwords of $200 for a bumper. I had a hitch done for right at $100. There should be plenty of places around you that can do your bumper.

If you can't fix it with a hammer or duct tape you have an electrical problem.

A quality powder coat will far outlast paint or bed liner. Problem with bad liner is if you hit it on a rock it will peak right off.
