I haven't bought a mount yet but my jerry can fits behind the driver side wheel hump in the bed of my truck and that's with a rear filler neck there also. I usually just ratchet strap it there and it is easy to fill without removing by dropping the gate when i hit the gas pumps. Fits just right and still allows access to my bed mounted bottle opener too :-bd

You don’t get worried with it inside the cab?

In the cab? I carry it in the bed. However I have put them in the car many times over the years. I am a block away from 3 gas stations. Never a concern.

I was thinking of the same spot - just inside the tailgate behind the wheel well. I need a bottle opener for my bed!
