So I bought a replacement turn signal/wiper/cruise lever from TGW (fast shipping and no issues BTW) and figured I'd be in for an easy install. When pulling the old one out, my guide string I had tied on below the column snagged and broke somewhere inside the column and the old lever and wire popped out the top.
Any good ideas on how to route the new wire down through the steering column now that I can't just pull it down via my guide string?
I've spent a while fishing at it with stiff wire, string, and bamboo skewers, but to no avail.
