Money is more important to me so i agree.. my fan shroud is cracked all over and the previous owner i guess came up with a neat idea to rivet in thin shee metal to the plastic parts to hold them all together, it worked and hey i cant complain.. I could have kept my good one i found and swapped it to be a purist but mine works just looks weird with metal bracing on it, but ill take the $300 thanks
Same with my cargo cover in the back, i found a burned wagoneer years ago, and the cargo cover was melted but the metal poles and recoil thing were good. I took some vinyl from joans that i used on the headliner and stitched it in using the old leather string the cargo cover itself slides into the metal retracting pole.. I fixed the spring inside so it recoils and walla, only issues the end caps are sand color mine is a cordovan interior.. The one day i found a perfectly mint cordovan cargo cover.. i coulda kept it for my Jeep, but i sold it for $400 on ebay plus $40 to fix the spring lol and shipped it to the UK lol
