Can anyone identify these leak patterns?

I am taking the photo from where the front of the Wagoneer would be. Not sure if there is enough information to identify from this photo but I figured I'd throw it out to the group

Better to get under the Jeep, take a little of the drip on your finger, and look at the color. Year and equipment would help - most Wagoneers are automatics, and different years have different oils in the transfer case.

Likely the front one is engine oil. That can come from several places, the most common being the rear main seal. Other leaks are possible, including the valve covers and intake manifold seals. Hard to tell you more by looking at the spots.

My guess would be front right is power steering (coming from pump). Front middle is front main (front of pan). Little spots, combo of pan leaks and rear main. Last big one I would normally say tcase gasket in between the two halves (if qtrac), but that would be offset to passenger side. So that one puzzles me a bit, but if later model running different tcase, could be the same. Or output shaft seal?

Problem with leaks is you need to wipe it all down then watch.. or clean it all then drive it as some leaks dont happen till you drivr.. then with it clean follow the oil.

The middle leaks its all black.. so its probsbly just a rear main seal.. mine leaks so bad itll splatter under the whole jeep and it likes to pool on the transmission. Cross member so a middle leak like that doesnt nean transfercase to transmission leak.

And tbh if transnission fluid was black like that id be more worried then it leaking

On my 88's transmission I had a leak from the selector shaft. Seems to be a common problem in older 727. I pulled my transmission out because I thought there were other issues but the lead was a simple one that could have been solved while in the vehicle.

Shift shaft seal seems common to leak on the 727 automatic.

Mine was leaking so bad id have a puddle the size of a toilet seat and itd be running down the parking spot like an oil slick.. thats from one night..

I had jugs of dexron 3 in the back to fill it uo every day or two. Replaced the seal through the cabin inspection cover and it stopped leaking thank god
