Time Waner Cable has two commercials out rightnow that have FSJs in 'em. One of 'em is a real quick glance of it driving thru a neighborhood. It took me a few times to actually be sure it was an FSJ. :o The second one is a dark blue grand wag w/wood. It looks as clean as or cleaner than the Tommy Pull-my-finger wag. Sorry I dont have a pic to post fromt he commercial.

King of Queens, Season 7, Episode 19 - Ice Cubed.

Carrie got stuck in the snow and took shelter inside a catholic church, where she felt really guilty about basically steeling a iPod. One of the scenes between events, they did a quick shot of the front of the church and parked out front, covered in snow was a Cherokee with a razor grill.

I was doing a job at the Screen Gems Studios lot here in Wilmington and they have 2 identical burgundy Grand Wagoneers on the lot, both crashed in the front passenger quarter. Must be in one of the movies or tv shows they're filming right now. Keep your eyes open. Always afraid to look to close at anything except what we're working on there, but they look really nice from a distance - other than the wrecked front 1/4 panel!

Criminal Minds - 4/27/11. Victim rolls up on a woman in a parking lot in the rain, she gives him a shot to paralyze him, gets him back into the Jeep then takes his eyes and kills him. Obviously a late model Wag, I think it was blue.

When I first saw the wag I was like  then  ! I thought for sure it would be the other way around, like he would kidnap her, cause the bad guys usually drive Wags!

The new Doctor Who that aired 4/30/11 on BBC America had what appeared to be a mid to late 70's Golden Eagle Cherokee Wide Track, only problem is it wa used in a chase scene that was to take place in 1969.

It was filmed in Moab, did the Cherokee belong to any member here?

In the movie "Chasing Holden" a grandpa is loaning his grandson an 80's waggy that at times looks blue or burgundy or gray. "She'll get you through anything the Almighty can dish up," he says.

Just after the word Georgetown is displayed, they do a long zoom

The copy we have is not Blue-ray so I couldn't get a close up.

That's funny because I was looking thru our latest KOHL's flier and saw a picture of a guy sitting on the back end of a red wagoneer. I showed it to my wife and she just shook her head. I don't have a picture though. I will have to see if I can get one.

I just watched this show 11/09/11 and noticed the waggy Flint mentioned.
I would love to see a video on the cars/trucks that made it there or in process of making it there. Bet there would be some nice eye candy there.

I tried to search, but since there aren't a lot of Canadians on here it might not have been mentioned yet.

Waggy on the show Canada's Worst Driver. Poor Waggy!! They've used it in a number of tests. One I actually watched today the poor thing had a water bucket on top of it so the drivers could learn smooth driving. If they weren't then the bucket of water would douse them through the sunroof. Poor Waggy!

Back in the studio, they were talking about how they loved visiting Martha and the asian lady said " And I loved the car we drove up in. What was it? An 1989...." To that, a small laughter. I told my wife to rewind it (watching it on the computer) because I said "That's a Jeep!!" and she was skeptical, saying "How can you tell?" since it just showed the door. But I'd recognize that doorframe and those side mirrors anywhere!!!

Just watched it last night, it is driven by the main character through out the movie. At one point it had tan interior with no headrests, and later it was maroon with headrests, so they must have had at least 2 during filming

btw, now everytime my gf sees a jeep in a movie she gets all excited and has to point it out to me :D

Hey Jeepstress, did you mention the red stepside J10 in "Midnight Run" ?

Its (in the background)the scene where Deniro and Grodin are talking in a vehicle right before or after they con the bartender out of a few "counterfeit" $20 bills.

On "Once Upon A Time" tonight there was a guy washing a nice looking white Grand Wagoneer. The wood paneling looked new. I normally wouldn't watch the show, but you gotta do what you gotta do to get the spousal unit to let me watch The Walking Dead, which by the way has a nice FSJ in it too. Theres what appears to be a Yellow Wagoneer with a Black Decal on the Tailgate that says Cherokee Chief or something like that, definitely a newer model with the aluminum one piece bumper. Maybe a Narrow Track Cherokee Chief?

Sorry, this is probably pointless.. but there was a M715 on some 80s movie that was on tv like.. last week. i do not remember for the life of me, what the movie was called. It must be obscure, because I can't find it online.. lol

totally helpful, I know. If I can figure out what it was, I'll update. LOL

I didn't watch the whole thing, but it seemed to be about 5 teenage-boys and a camp they didn't like, or something, and at some point, they take off in this Jeep.. hotwired, and they leave it running when they stop at a bar/pool-hall type place.. god.. it annoys me so much not to have gotten the title. lol

I was just flipping through the channels and saw a clean chop top waggy prominently displayed in a Nokia/Tmobile commercial on one of the Spanish channels (Telemundo). About fifteen minutes into the movie Blue Steel, actress Jammie Lee Curtis and actor Ron Silver get into a NYC cab. The cab gets involved in a traffic jam that is shown from overhead camera. On the lower left (I believe) corner of the screen is the hood and browless windhield of what I believe to be a FSJ cought in the jam. It was only shown for about three seconds so I'm not certain but I am fairly sure.

I coulda sworn it was mentioned before but its not in the list.

The TV show Jericho, several of the main characters are in a Gladiator for a bit before being run off the road and the truck flips. One of the main characters, Jake, becomes trapped underneath the truck for a while. You can find the clip easily on Youtube, its in the episode titled "Heart of Winter."

The hood does not appear correct for a Glad, I think its had Rhinoplasty :D, maybe someone with more knowledge can identify the year by the front axle.

Also anyone know anything about the windshield wipers? My 1969 Glad does not have the extra external linkage shown on this, but I kind of like it.

It's definitely not a Gladiator. Front appears to be non-post mount (74 and later), and you can see the brackets/holes for mounting a different style grille with a hood bar. So '74-78ish J-Truck.

They look like just loose/floppy J-Truck wipers to me.

I had never seen the movie before and just happened to DVR "Without a Paddle" starring Seth Green, Matthew Lillard, and Dax Shepard. In the beginnings of the movie they are driving in a '77 Waggie dubbed "The Duke". One of them comments on it being a 318ci which we all know was actually a 360. But still a pretty cool looking Waggy and so far seems like a fun movie. And now back to the show ... :fsj:

King of Queens 2000 episode "Strike Out". At 22 minutes a GW in the background.

Will and Grace 2001. On there way to visit Sandra Bernhart's townhouse Dark Green Final Edition driving down street.

Friends 2003. Racheal babyproofs house. Six minutes in GW driving down the street.

Thanks to Mary. She is good at FSJ spotting but then what's a teacher to do in the summer. :hide:

I have watched Tremors, god knows how many times, I just love that truck. This last time I noticed a waggy in there. It shows up when they come back to the general store and find the Graboid snake attached to the rear axle, they parked right next to it and you see just a few hints of it in the background, can't believe I've missed it all these times.

There is an identical 2 dr NT Cherokee for sale in Grand Junction, I believe it's a '74 or '75 and has a 1bbl 258 and 3spd manual trans. The Jeep is pretty rusty but I believe the dealer would take the first $500 or so that walked thru the door.

Ok, I'll throw this one out there, though not a tv movie it was kinda cool. The ODFW (oregon dept of fish & wildlife) has an old movie/video that they show for their hunter education class. Apparently they don't have money for a new one. I saw it a few months ago. It is about a 1977/78 vintage & uses a wagoneer throughout it. Terrible color and the drivers door even squeeks when the driver gets out. I could barely keep from laughing. Anyone else around here seen it?

The new movie TED with Mark Wahlberg. The movie is very funny and I recommend it but probably not one for the kids. In the beginning of the movie as it is focusing on the main characters home there is a Wagoneer parked on the street next door and then shortly later it is driving down the street. Nice clean Waggy.
