Cab corners

Post by Phils67 »

Unfortunately my cab corners are shot so I can't use them for accurate dimensions. Does anyone have a good pair they are willing to donate, maybe off of one you are junking or something? Maybe I am just fantasizing due to Winter boredom but my plan is to build stamping dies based off of a good pair and begin stamping out new replacements. If all goes well then I would produce them for sale reasonably Would anyone be interested in a pair if I can pull it off? The donor would get the first pair free btw.

How about some patch panels for the lower front fender or end caps for the beds.

End caps for beds I thought also. Again, mine are junk. However those cab corners could be cut to make the lower portion of the end caps. A friend of mine made cab corners from bed cap lowers so it shouldnt be hard

Oh, I didn't mean I was deleting the post. We need to keep these links available. I just meant the part about trying to make them.

This brings hope that more parts will be reproduced.

Hopefully it will. I would love to be able to find repops of fenders, flares ,header panel, and hood in actual STEEL, not fiberglass, and maybe some bed end caps, tailgate, etc. We can only hope for such things to become available one day..

I don't recognize the 'cab corner', even from the picture. Where are these located on the Jeep?

Those are the rear bottom corners of the J-truck cabs, sans rocker.

Everyones gotta eat. I wouldn't worry about 3-4 bucks if it meant my truck was cancer free. Now if i could only find cab corners for my MJ also, I'd be content.
