Exactly. Its a workhorse. I havent been outside to see it cured yet. Its raining like crazy now. It was pretty much dry last night so hopefully its ok. Last part is the tailgate which i put in the garage to work on today. Hopefully i will be cruising it again by tomorrow

Pulled it in the garage to dry and get a better look at the results. It has a spot on the hood where filler is really noticeable so I will need to rework that spot. Overall the paint has an orange peel look but i may try to wetsand and buff it in the future. It beads the water off like a surfboard which is an improvement over the flattened satin that was on it before. The old paint felt like wet chalk when it rained.

On to the tailgate! Tons of high bulges from whatever it had loaded by the previous owner of the bed. I smacked them down with a flat hammer and filled the now low spots. Just ordered some new white vinyl tailgate letters and it will get my reproduction Gladiator decal as well. I don't have it in me to repaint the Jeep letters by hand again. I was going to make it a chain style and fill the latch area with sheetmetal but that is a future project. I am ready to finally stop breathing dust and paint fumes. Time to wrap this up so its ready for the local cruise night coming up.

And this beauty will be the Coup De Gras. The final touch. I have been dying to put this on for years now! :-bd

Hey, it's a truck at the end of the day. Trucks are meant to do work, not look pretty. However, I think yours turned out great! At least it looks like it from here :-bd
It's a truck AND a Jeep. That's got to mean even more latitude! :-bd
