Yeah, looks like a standard gasket that takes the SS trim like all the gaskets available today.

What happened to your old trim? Did the guy remove it and lie to you about being able to put it back on, was it missing before or did your original gasket not take it?

Never had it. Not sure if it even came with it on a 67 truck. Mine came with the ss trim on the rear of the cab only. The trim around the door glass i added just recently

Not trying to hijack the thread but i surprisingly came across a 91 GW at the local boneyard today! Took yalls advice and picked the stainless windshield trim off of it. Ive now fought for over an hour to get pieces of it on my windshield and it isnt cooperating at all. Actually its lifting the gasket off the windshield on the sides by almost 1/4".. Any advice? This is a PITA! Came off WAY easier than its going on

I'm not home right now but I will try to get pics later. Is there is no Groove in the gasket for the trim to snap onto.

it just sits on top of it and the peices snap together and then you screw it into the gasket.body on the corners and so forth

The groove is where you thought the gasket was two peices it goes on the outside section of the gasket.. Look at my pics on thr previous page to see

Its raining and aggravating so for now it sits. Called my insurance company since i ha e a zero deductable for glass and there is a white film of delamination around it anyways so when the new windshield and gasket are installed ill try again. Until then i have a hundred other projects to work on like my axles and things. I will update after the new glass is in
