That is my green Cherokee that Bob posted above. I didn't have to lower my tank. Only problem I had was getting a short enough drill bit to drill between the body and frame. I wound up using a 90* adapter for my drill and shortened drill bit.ArchitectJS wrote: ↑Sat Nov 06, 2021 7:43 pm just got a set of these and not looking forward to lowering the tank again. I was thinking of weld studs to the frame to avoid this.
any expert advice on this? any concern with heat and poly tank? I doubt there is any real structural concern for the frame, but opinions wanted.
Wish I had know this. I was being a dumbass and thought the frame was boxed all the way. Found out when gas came out the hole.
good tips, All. My Cherokee comes home from paint this weekend. I will start on layout then.Curly wrote: ↑Sun Nov 07, 2021 10:41 pmThat is my green Cherokee that Bob posted above.
