Can a power window door be changed to a
Manual/crank? Has anyone completed this modification? Tailgate same question? 82 cherokee Laredo..

The doors are the same between the two, only the internals are different. This goes for side doors and the tail gate.

are the internals interchangeable? or would finding manual crank doors and swapping them be simpler?

As far as I know,, all the holes and mounting spots are the same year for year. So the internals should swap. Now, if the donor is a 74, and you have an 89, you may have to drill some holes.

I don't see why it wouldn't work. I put power windows in my M715 when I owned it.

When I did it I had to shorten one of the manual window arm because the glass was not rolling all the way up....
