Hiring FSJ enthusiast mechanics. TEXAS

Post by sportsidedan »

In February 2018, I am officially launching JeepHeritage out of Columbus, TX.
The aim is to build the nicest vintage Jeeps in the world. Frame off, nut and bolt, rust proof, the best of the best Cherokee's, J-trucks and Wagoneers, treating our beloved Jeeps with the same respect as any other vintage classic.

We will carry three drivetrains:
- old school stock
- new school upgraded fuel injected reliability
- extreme SRT-8 mechanical interface

I am hiring mechanics that, like me, want to share their passion for these old Jeep's and put it in a commercial framework.

https://www.facebook.com/jeepheritageoftexas/

I've built many Jeep's over the past 15 years out of passion and decided to make the step over to the US mid 2017. Passion continues and the adventure begins.

You have built some amazing vehicles over in europe, I have no doubt they will be just as nice on this side of the pond.

I like your page.. I noticed that some restorers even wagon master just repaints the Jeeps and doesnt really replace some items.. Even turn signal lenses and little setails werent replaced on some of wagon masters Jeeps on ebay.. yet they get 30-40k $ for them

or am i mistaking em for classic gentleman.. Either way it makes me feel like ive done more then them to restore mine.. Ive replaced every thing i could think off.. even little small details inside and out.. At least things i could find and afford.

Welcome to Texas! Lots of FSJs in these parts ... not as many of the 60s and 70s, but tons of 80s to 1990. Enjoy some road trips to Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Oregon and Washington for the earlier models. And you just can't beat rust fee examples from California and Arizona.

there's an ass for every seat. i don't want to compete in that market. i aim at the highest possible quality of restoration, without cutting corners.
bronco and toyota guys do it but nobody out there with jeeps. check out www.fj.co and www.classicfordbroncos.com . they created the market from scratch. hat off.

Same here... I would totally put in an app to have my years of wrenching to work for you.

Texas though... It's hot enough where I live. I will, however, promote your site to everyone who asks where to buy an FSJ
