radio, interior and dash lights stopped working ??

My radio as i was driving was turning on and off on and off.. so i finally pulled over and it stopped working completetly.. I checked the fuse to it and its fine. As i was looking at it i noticed my overhead lights dont work. but the computer display does. The floor lights dont work and neighter does the light under the hood..

As i looked at the hood light i noticed it was fixed to the brake booster housing. The wire is exposed and i guess it shorted out..

Is there a relay that powers all this or a fuse ? i looked at all the fuses under steering where and they all look good.

If you need assistance with electrical, need to post detailed info. Measure voltages, etc. Otherwise it's just a guess

When I recently put in a new ignition switch, the radio, clock, blinkers, dashlights and overhead lights would not work. If I jiggled the keys, they would come back on. I guess the metal rod was tight and in a bit of a bind. I dropped the steering column again and sprayed the area with some graphite and it worked like a charm.

Have you played with the switch at all?

I fixed it.. aparently there is another fuse inside the dash ? brilliant spot to put it...
