That's been around for a while, but that's the first time I've seen it in cans! By CO standards, it's barely hoppy enough to be an IPA, but in the big picture that's not a bad thing. CO Brewers have gone a little overboard with the hops.

Colorado has nothing on Oregon for hoppy brews! I had the all day IPA recently and liked it. Surprised me though coming from Michigan or wherever as I'm so spoiled with craft brewing
We had some of that show up in Ouray a few years back. I drank it. Still have an unopened bottle. I don't know why. It is like alcohol abuse. Krista got me a couple glasses. I like my Blue Moon in them.
All Day IPA is meant to be a lawnmower beer - it actually has less alcohol than PBR. It's not meant to compete with standard west coast IPAs. The trick is to make it a session beer, so have as much flavor as possible without it cracking 5% alcohol. For that reason, it rocks. You can drink it and still mow the lawn.
That design though, came out the week after I went up north into the boundary waters of Minnesota, and I had canoes strapped to my roof. Was a nice landing.
I'm from the midwest so this is a pretty common beer to see in the craft beer isle of stores around here. It's definitely a solid beer! In about a week and a half, a group of us are driving up to the Silver Lake sand dunes in Michigan and are planning on stopping by Founders Brewery in Grand Rapids. I'll have my Chief and my buddy will have his Grand Wag, should make for a pretty fun time!
I dont like the IPA--its too bitter. I prefer the Lager and Dark beers for sipping. Definitely not into the flavored beers or the Silly Sh!t tonics/seltzers.
