hi guys,

as i look at my car and notice that the rear is higher than the front, i m wondering if the front leaf springs are installed correctly ? shoudn't they be on top of the wheel axles ?

No Tara, all FSJ Wagons and Cherokees had front Spring Under Axle setups.
Most often an empty SJ with good springs will sit higher in the rear. Once camping gear or a trailer is added, they will sit fairly evenly.
Interestingly, your front axle is correct for your year Jeep, a model 27/30

but when i look at this J 200 frim 68, it is different

Apples and Oranges. Gladiators have spring over axle, Wagoneer has spring under. 74 and newer are all spring under.

And some of us, for lift, have converted and put our springs over the axle. (SOA)

That's my truck on stock springs and factory spring over. I did move the spring plates on top of the springs tho instead of below the axle where they were from the factory.

That's my truck on stock springs and factory spring over. I did move the spring plates on top of the springs tho instead of below the axle where they were from the factory.

They don't look very lifted to me, could be original. Your shackles however are definitely longer than stock.
