as i look at my car and notice that the rear is higher than the front, i m wondering if the front leaf springs are installed correctly ? shoudn't they be on top of the wheel axles ?
No Tara, all FSJ Wagons and Cherokees had front Spring Under Axle setups.
Most often an empty SJ with good springs will sit higher in the rear. Once camping gear or a trailer is added, they will sit fairly evenly.
Interestingly, your front axle is correct for your year Jeep, a model 27/30

That's my truck on stock springs and factory spring over. I did move the spring plates on top of the springs tho instead of below the axle where they were from the factory.
