Are you kidding me

Post by Tin Medic »

My left rear wheel let go on me today. I got the death wobble and then in my sideview mirror I see all 6 lug nuts making a break for freedom. I couldnt get off the road fast enough and the tire decided to join the lug nuts on the other side of the road. Damage could be worse but it folded in the quarter panel and peeled back the metal under the rocker panel. It jarred enough that i have to fight to close the passenger door. The rim and tire are done also. I got home and checked my right rear and all the lug nuts were loose also. :?: I dont even want to know what this is going to cost.

Ouch!

At least you didn't (yet) fall victim to a broken semi float axle shaft like Flint did!

At least you (and the others around you) lived to tell about it. :-bd
