My pain in the rear is your good luck ... I recently bought them from both BJ's and Team Wagoneer so I can give you a good head to head comparison:
I first bought the universal ones from BJ's. You have to cut the fuse the corners together for the install. I could not get my rear driver side door to close even after adjusting it (the door) several times. I also did not like the look of the universal door seals with my homemade fuse together job. Bit the bullet and bought the ones from Team Wagoneer.
Team Wagoneer ones installed right in no issues except you need to trim to fit at the bottom where both bitter ends meet up. No issue with door closing with them either.
All said I love BJ's stuff by and large and their awesome customer service but the Team Wagoneer seals are much better. If you do buy from Team Wagoneer make sure to use PayPal so you have recourse if something is not right as they have notoriously poor customer service.
As far as I know, the tailgate and body where the seals go were unchanged from 62-91.
The seals both BJs and TGW sell are made by SoftSeal and are excellent. I installed mine about 2 years ago and everything is still sealed up perfectly.

I may have to gets some team grandwagoneer ones then. I have been dealing with the BJ's universal ones for many years, and I have to slam the driver side door to get it to close.
hi guys,
i have finally begin to install the Team Wagoneer seals : they installed right in no issues but i have issue with door closing with them . i cannot close the door
That's because those seals are wrong for your Wagoneer. Those are 73 or 74 and newer seals. Fatter than the 71-72 seals, and altogether different than the 1970ish and older seals. The original seals mounted on your doors and are a different profile than the ones installed. You should be able to close your doors ok if you adjust them. I'm running those style seals on my 63 and 71, and can close my doors. Takes a good solid amount of force to shut them though.
thats what it is written on teamgrangwagoneer website.
any way, ican close the doors but doors stays slightly open and unless i do some cut on the seals, i don't think the doors will one day close as they should even when the seals will flatten
i slamed the doors and yes , now it stays closed correctly, but it seems still very thick and to slam the doors so hard is scary. do you think that the seals will really flatten to the point that i will be able to close the doors without blaming the doors so hard ?
Those seals will compress in thickness with time. If door, trunk, and tailgate seals are installed correctly they will be thick at first, but as the months go by and we get into cold weather, you will thank yourself for spending the time and money to do it, and by then you'll have gotten used to slamming the doors closed, that just means the seals are doing their job. Enjoy.
I read many times that the BJs seals rarely allowed the doors to close even after time, but TGW seals did close easily. It's possible TGW is now using the same sourcing as where BJs gets theirs and that's why you can't close the doors.
There was a thread here or at the other FSJ site that showed how to trim the BJs seals so the doors would close. If I can find that thread I'll post it here, but you may want to try and search for it.
