I really like the contour lines on top of the paint job. When i repaint mine back to hunter green i am thinking how cool out it be to do that... if it's less than the vinyl wood kit that is.

Yeah, that's daniel619s rig. Pretty sure he only joined up here to shop it around to us. I think ebay is the right place for it, that way everybody knows that's it'll sell for exactly what it's market demand dictates. It's not the kind of thing that's easy to make an offer on, because it may or may not be worth more than the sum of it's parts. Or, it may be worth significantly less. I hope he's satisfied with the final price though!

Its very much a SEMA Jeep.

I do not care for the suspension setup at all. I have no issues with using JK arms, they work well. But... The drag link and track bar angles are different, which means death wobble if it starts to oscillate. And the rear track bar is BLEH. Going to have a terrible roll center.

But with a bit of work, it could be awesome.

It's not my cup of tea either, but I certainly appreciate the effort and attention to detail. I hope he gets a return on his investment and that whoever buys it enjoys it.

I don't like the look of that thing. The plastic looking front bumper and those goofy led headlights (I think someone said they were speakers?) ugh.

It very much looks like a JKU guy build of a FSJ.

Local CL ad here in SD asking $39k OBO. https://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/cto ... 34620.html
Honestly it's built to an individuals taste, I think it'll be a tough sell @ that price.

Yeah I remember really liking that except for the bumpers when I first saw it. Now I don't find much to like about it at all. I guess my taste has changed. That suspension is atrocious. Everything just looks like it wants to fight itself. They posted some photos of it "off-road" and I remember thinking it looked like it was painful for it to flex. I do hope someone who really enjoys it gets to have it and that he gets a fair price for it. Personally For over 30k I'd rather a very nice freshened up all original survivor with a quality 3-4" lift and shocks with maybe 32" tires. Anything more aggressive than that and I want what I'm building. I do love a lot more about their J Truck build. I wish fenders flares like that were commercially available.

I tend to agree, except I go a step further... I think most anything, again... most..., with more than a 4 to 6 inch lift is getting silly. Yeah, if that's your thing, that's your thing. But personally, I like 4 inchs of up with a 32 or 33 and ride off into the sunset. Just today I saw a suburban with what looked like an 18 inch lift with mud bogs. For me, that would be something that was towed to where you would want to have fun.

Things I really liked about it was the roof rack, minus the light bar, and the paint job. I really liked the map contour lines.

Too high or too low?

What I don't get is the winner was on top then bumped his bid $4k then another $11k.

Weird. If I were poking at a reserve I'd maybe do it in $1k increments.

Have to account for auto/proxy bids by other bidders...
There is also the reserve factor, not uncommon for a seller to tell high bidder the reserve if asked...guessing buyer bumped bid because he knew/asked what reserve was.

Many times sales don’t go through as well.
Buyer flakes, not as represented, or it’s a buddy bidding to try and make a sale...
