Who would have thought that a Wagoneer and an Airstream would appeal to twenty-somethings...

Have a white and aluminum Christmas? :)

That headliner cracks me up. They could've done better.

You know what? I'm glad whenever I see an FSJ in the media in any condition that doesn't get smashed, crashed, or blown up. I did see that commercial was already posted a couple days ago though. :P

On a related note, Amazon's Grand Tour; where they basically rebooted Top Gear with the original cast, their opening of the first episode has a lifted FC170 in it. I'll probably watch the whole series for the cars, but it's unfortunate that they use Jeremy Clarksons open racism as a punch line. :ugeek:

Chevy style HEI (ECM controlled)
Dolphin "Shark" gauges in a fancy homemade oak bezel
3/4 resto, rotting faster than I've been fixing it.

Isn't that why we drive FSJs? When I sold our Honda and bought the 84 GW, our good friends could not and still do not (TO THIS DAY) understand why we would buy something like this. The paint is faded, gets embarrassingly poor gas mileage and has a bit of a sag. But we love it.

When i got my 90 i showed my neighbors and one of them said... YOURE KIDDING ?? and i thought he was being like whoaahh, instead he asked why would i buy something like that..

Then the other day in Jiffy lube when i was turning in my used coolant from changing out my radiator.. One of the mechanics saw my GW and ran out of the garage.. screeming no way.. is that a grand wagoneer ? And then he gets a better look and says yea thats a grand Fing Wagoneer..

I purchased my GW when i was 29.. and my 5.9 ZJ when i was 23 which was my first car

LOL.

They could have found a better GW for that commercial though lol, they sure spent some time to try and find the "perfect" looking humans though
