Haha, not yet! People still occasionally tell my they like my "western" accent. I also get a "howdy" every once in a while... which sounds hilarious with the new England accent!

"Haw day, Pahtnah!"

Yeah, in the military I learned that us Coloradans had an accent, at least to the easterners. They described it to me as sounding like an old-timey radio announcer. Since less than half the people in CO are actually from CO anymore, I think it's gotten watered down quite a bit in the last 20 years.

Back to random pics, guess who's $800 gold toof just begat another $800 gold toof? This is after they widdled it down for a temp crown. Ouchy mouth.

Went metal-detecting with my dad and my son, today. Listened to my son talk about how cool it would be to find an old revolver for about the first hour we were at the site of a cavalry/native battle along the Oregon trail. 10 minutes later, after my son decided to go look for jade at an old near-by minesite, I found some old flint-lock rifle parts (older than any revolver!). Probably spare parts. They don't look worn, at all:

Wow, that is so cool! Can you contact the author of that article and get in contact with an authority on the matter? It would be really cool if you found a historically significant piece!

In other news, my buddy Rob helped me get my Land Cruiser ready for "Fall Crawl" out here in New Hampshire. After a great day of wheeling, I convinced him to take his Cherokee out of moth balls and get it on the trail again. So, last weekend, we pulled it out of the container to begin work. It's his first car from back in the 90s. It has 2" of lift and the 37" military MTs. Build will involve D60, high pinion front, D60 rear, 40 or 42" tires, Atlas 4 speed and a long travel suspension setup. I might make a build thread on here for him.

While I was in, I got told I had an Arizona accent. Which is talking quickly but pronounce every word fully
