Here's what I know: http://www.builtbyfhe.com/fhe-riglock.html

I'm still waiting on some tooling before I can cut one. Wish I had something to practice on for this one.

On Vintage News, they reported a massive WW II Army surplus dump site off an island in the former French Polynesia island chain:

I went to an awesome truck show last weekend. Lots of Mack, Autocar and White trucks. Sorry the first pic is blurry.

Random Picture Thread

It was an interesting article- unlike Truk Island, this was a willful disposal of surplus equipment that the Colonial French Government did not want to pay scrap value for and thought we would hand over all the airstrips and supplies lock stock and barrel. It did not work out that way.

Did you happen to get more pics of the White's Cabover? Those are one of my favorite trucks.

No other pics of that White cabover, sorry. I had never seen one before and I think it was the only one of that model at the show. There were some slightly newer, sort of smaller-scale cabover Whites also. I'll check and see if I got a pic of those, although they didn't have the curves that this one had.

There's been about 5-7 for sale in Washington and Montana, parts, cabs, and whole trucks. I'd enjoy making a quad cab version and setting it on a 1 ton chassis.
