lol yea my waggy leaks so bad on the trans shifter seal and power steering i have a drip pan like 3 feet long and 2 feet wide under mine.. have to put a drain pan under it too because it leaks that much trans fluid.. i really need to fix that

It was an interesting article- unlike Truk Island, this was a willful disposal of surplus equipment that the Colonial French Government did not want to pay scrap value for and thought we would hand over all the airstrips and supplies lock stock and barrel. It did not work out that way.
Did you happen to get more pics of the White's Cabover? Those are one of my favorite trucks.

No other pics of that White cabover, sorry. I had never seen one before and I think it was the only one of that model at the show. There were some slightly newer, sort of smaller-scale cabover Whites also. I'll check and see if I got a pic of those, although they didn't have the curves that this one had.

There's been about 5-7 for sale in Washington and Montana, parts, cabs, and whole trucks. I'd enjoy making a quad cab version and setting it on a 1 ton chassis.
