I have been using my phone , but we are planning a trip to Oregon this year and I would like something with a bigger screen that doesn't require me to do more than glance at it. What do you guys recommend? I've tried looking on line but the reviews are all over the place
I have a couple Garmins, I think they are the Flex or something like that? $130 or so from best buy if I remember right. If you have a GPS capable tablet you should use Gaia. It's a free GPS map program that you can create and download tracks for on and off road trips.

My daughter just gifted me a Kindle Fire that she hasn't used in months. It has GPS and a mapping program. I'm going to try to adapt it as GPS and MP3 player, maybe more.
