Rotella T6 oil

Post by Ovorina »

I have read from knowledgeabe sources that Rotella T6 synthetic motor oil is the very best for my C223 engine. My question is, does using the synthetic oil extend the number of miles I can drive between oil changes or should I stick to the 3,000 mile interval? I have heard of almost doubling the miles for gassers, but have never seen any data for diesels.

Thanks

Synthetic will break down far slower, so it *should* last longer. But, ultimately depends on how long it stays clean. If it gets dirty, it still has to be changed.

What did you swap this engine into?
