Contacted the clinic directly and sweet talked the lady over the phone. She had received my paperwork and was kind enough to schedule me for the earliest she could. Part 1 is tomorrow at 8am. Unfortunately, part two can't happen until Monday at 10:00. Not sure if that's going to push me for another couple weeks or a month before I can start... Trying to get the HR woman to answer the phone and talk to me.
Keep plugging bro!

I think a L shaped ambush works best in these situations.

For the record, I posted an update but either Tapatalk is having a fit or it disappeared. Heading to bed so I'll check or repost tomorrow.

Great news everybody!!! I'm officially employed again!!

Yippppeeeeeeee!!!!!!

It's been a long, brutal road but it looks like life is finally about to change for the better for us!
I start Tuesday at 0600 and will have 4 10hr days a week. Hopefully I can pick up a 5th for overtime but for now... I'm just exstatic at going to work.
Thanks to everyone for their kind words and support, and letting me vent!
Here's to a bright future!

Again... Thanks again guys!!!

So, in an effort to not start a new thread....
I got a completely new attitude with this good news and decided to give my Scrambler some attention. A couple months ago the pulley sheared off the pump so I grabbed one of the used spares from storage but have been in such a funk, I hadn't put it on. So today i jumped on it with Glee. The motor is a 360 from am 83 waggy, basically bone stock.
Once I got the replacement pump on and went to bleed it out, I noticed something coming from the bottom of the carb. Gave it the smell test and find it's gas. Image Talk about dodging a car-B-que! So does anyone have any idea what may be leaking on it? Looks almost like it's coming out of that vacuum nipple on the front?

Guess that explains why the mpg has been Extra bad. So glad I caught that before it burned to the ground.

Looks like a blown power valve, they are different thread than a Holley so that means you'll be sourcing a rebuild kit for the whole carb. Probably could use it anyway!

On another note, that nipple should be connected to manifold vacuum. That's what supplies power valve signal in the late 2150.

Thanks man! Since I deleted the CTVs, where is a good place to put it? There's another nipple about the same height but closer to the drivers side that goes nowhere too. Wonder if that explains why the motor feels sluggish? Poor thing has sat more of its life since I've owned it than being driven. I'm sure the seals/gaskets are tired.

Any manifold vacuum source. Post up a picture of the other nipple?

Where's your distributor vacuum hooked up?

Running EGR?
