My new toy

Post by Shagoneer »

Just finished setting up my new toy at work it’s a Denn 100/30.
It’s kinda weird to use since I’m used to CNC machines that cut your material to the desired shape, whereas this bends it into the desired shape.

I fixed your post for you. For the YouTube bit, you just use the share code, not the full URL.

Thank you Stuka, I always screw up pictures and videos.

The part we were making here is the base for a solar powered attic fan. We were experimenting with the tool paths when I took this video Wednesday and barely got it perfected today. So now Monday we get to start work on another style of fan mount.

Right now we are paying another company to spin these parts (that company has hoorible QC standards and we send a lot back) then we send them to another company for powder coat. Once we get this everything set up on the DENN we will be able to do it all in house and to a higher standard.

Since a lot of fab guys are members here, does anyone have metal spinning experience? I’m having a couple problems and the guys from Denn aren’t any help
