I have used both and they look identical. The Bulltear one comes with a couple different thickness gaskets to dial in your end play clearance. I don't remember the BJ's one coming with them. But that was also almost 10 years ago.

Did you compare plate thickness between the two? You can see the difference side by side. Maybe BJs changed to a thicker plate since 09 when I got one. I never complained about the warped plate and just sucked it up to FSJ luck.
I have not compared them side by side. The one I used from BJ's was back in '06. The one I got from Bulltear was in 2010. They very well could have been different thicknesses I just remember them being strangely similar lol.
