What gooseneck and/or 5th wheel setup are you running?

Post by Grand_Wag_85 »

For those of you running a gooseneck or 5TH wheel, what hitch setup are you running? Rails, no rails, over bed or under bed?

I need the ability to switch between a 5TH wheel or gooseneck as needed. I've used an F350 with the factory gooseneck and 5TH wheel prep kit BUT the rail adapter from Reese is a PITA to install. I've also used a truck with a permanent in bed rail setup. Works good but I'm curious what else is out there?

You know it's bad when your car is on the EPA's 10 most wanted list!

Best setup I've ever used for ease of use and still being able to,use my bed is the B&W turnover ball hitch. And then the B&w companion, 5th wheel hitch best of all worlds. I have thousands of towed miles with that setup, especially pulling goose. Hands down worth the money for interchangeability aftermarket.

Second vote on the B&W turnover ball.
