Everyone loves Sean Connery as Bond, but to be honest I always felt those Bond movies were slow moving even though they were the quintessential Bond movies. Daniel Craig has been doing a great job of making Bond movies for the current era, where the market demands dark comedy mixed in with fantastic action scenes.
While less popular, Moore was my favorite Bond. His Bond was tongue in cheek all the way through, and the movies were more like a well-executed shark-jumping Bonanza; easy to watch no matter what disposition you were in.

There's a great stunt in Golden Gun where he rolls, in the aircraft sense, a Javelin, I think, crossing a canal.
Totally ruined by the sound effect.

It was a hornet-x, after chasing a Matador that turned into an airplane. "Automotive piroett" they call it. The clip is on YouTube, at some point I'll find it and post it here, and all my other favorite Moore-as-Bond clips. The monkey ending is my favorite Bond ending ever!

Couldn't remember the model and my wifes got the 007 tapes put away.
Maybe time to dig them out for a 007 marathon.

I miss-remember all kinds of stuff, I thought Carlo Montalban was the villain (most likely because tattoo was his henchman) until Ted posted the clip and I saw it was young Christopher Lee.
