Does anyone know if I can do this from the "web view" or do I have to be in the regular tapatalk screen view to post pics? I'm embarrassed to have to ask. I have seen this explained at least a hundred times.

Ok. Figured out how to do it from the tapatalk screen but I find that super annoying. Would much prefer to sign in to tapatalk, go to fsjn, choose web view and navigate the site the way I am used to doing it. I am using iPad/iPhone. If anyone can advise me I would appreciate it. Is a different photo sharing app a better choice for me?

I post pics straight from my iphone. Easy, peasy, chicken squeezy.

If you are only wanting to use the normal WebView, there is really no reason to use tapatalk. Tapatalk is intended to make using the forum from a phone easier, as it is optimized for a mobile device, the forum really isn't.

Tapatalk is the easiest way to upload images from a mobile device, as they host the image, and you don't have to worry about shrinking it down to the size requirements I have in place on the forum.

Your other option is to host images on an image hosting service, but thats quite a bit more work from a mobile device.

If I try to do it straight from my phone I get a "file size too large" message with no opportunity to adjust the size. From my iPad it just will not attach. No message. I guess Tapatalk isn't too much of a pita and it does let me adjust file size to allow the pic to post. Just hate the look of the forum on Tapatalk. Too much like Facebook.

Yeah, sadly I can't alloy everybody to upload 5-10MB images, it just sucks up way too much space. Which is why I have the limitations on there.

Totally understand, Stuka, and yes, Chip, I do have the Tapatalk on the iPad. It works. I shouldn't complain. Really just wanted to know if I was missing something easy. I do appreciate the help. The ability to post pics makes me feel a lot more invested no matter how clunky my method is. My distrust of all things electronic can sometimes hamstring me.
