Powers Boothe

Post by REDONE »

Our Tombstone favorites are going the way of the Wild West. Powers Boothe passed today, he played Curly Bill across Bill Paxton in Tombstone, among many other great characters. He never needed a whole lot of lines or screen time to make a memorable character, both heroes and villains.

"Well, bye." -Curly Bill
79 J-10 (Honcho Mucho) KE0LSU
304/Performance Fuel Injection TBI/MTA1/SP2P/Magnum rockers
T18/D20/D44s&4.10s/33" Mud Claws
Grizzly Locker Rear
4" front spring drop, 5" rear shackle flip
Chevy style HEI (ECM controlled)
Dolphin "Shark" gauges in a fancy homemade oak bezel
3/4 resto, rotting faster than I've been fixing it.

You know what I'd do? I'd take that deal 'n' crawfish, then drill that ol' Devil in the ass. What about you Johnny, what would you do?

Johnny Ringo:
I already did it."

He played a number of good guys too, notibly Red Dawn. But like you, it was his villains that were my favorite. I used to joke that he and Michael Ironside we're interchangeable, but I was just foolin.

Whoa. He was one of the last bada$$ guys who had both depth and range. It's a real loss.
