Random Video Thread

Post by BugsInMyTeeth »

I got some time to goof off at work last week. Too cool not to share.

Best viewed with a decent surround sound.

This is me banging a five gallon bucket on the floor of a 7M ga concrete water tank.

It appears the middle stage booster came apart just after the vehicle moved off the pad. There was an increase in light then a few moments later POOF!

I'm a die hard Mopar fan! I saw this car and was in instant LUST!

The guys doing the metal work are stunningly good.

^Yeah... They were supposed to launch the day before, but a sail boat entered the stay out zone and they had to scrub. They were already fully fueled (liquid propellant and oxidizer) and the left the rocket fuelled/pressurized all night. I wonder if temp cycling and humidity changes allowed a small vapor leak that heated and ignited under the skin...

Also, I'm a "Maximus" admirer like you. That car is awesome.
