2015 Midwest Invasion Location

Post by retro53 »

We previously met in KY and IN. Toss out any location that you think a group of us from the Midwest can meet. The last time when we all got together was at my house in KY. Folks drove in from all over to help me put my wrecked Cherokee back together. All of the times we have gathered all have had a good time.

Alternators, winches, 4x4, guns all have the same issue if you don't have any knowledge of them usually bad things will happen. Serehill

we stayed at Shades State Park in IN and just had a meet n greet type thing. Lots of great food and talk.

So far there was talk of a meet in Mammoth Cave area in KY for the hillclimb event at Blue Holler http://www.blueholleroffroadpark.com/.Made reservations today so I will be there the 18th and 19th(check out sun am) at http://koa.com/campgrounds/horse-cave/

Looks like we are going to try to go to Rush Offroad park in Eastern KY for a meet in Oct. ? maybe ... we need input on who wants what.

To give everyone time to get their schedules straight, I submit that we settle on meeting at Rush Offroad. Early October would be a good time to go there because the weather should still be nice. Not too hot,not too cold. They allow primitive camping onsite at the trail head.

Thoughts? http://www.rushoffroad.com/
