A sign I did for a friends Garage.

Post by Full Size Jeeper »

A friend of mine and his son have a small shop at his house that they work on their street rods. I was at a junk shop near my house and found an old rusted out piece of a Chevy truck grill. I knew this would be perfect for a sign for his shop. Here is what I did. The wood is heart pine I tore out of a house I helped a friend with.

What I did was used a wood chisel to mark the letters and painted in-between the lines.

Built some brackets to hold the grill in place and cut up a bunch of old wrenches and put them in the sign.

Would like to do one jeep related for my barn, but I don't see that happening any time soon. To many irons in fire.

That's really cool. Love the wrenches sticking out.

Nice dude. Its amazingly good looking banner. The corner designs are very attractive.

I like it, and that is a good use for one of GM's uglier grills. Looks better now then when it was new.

Love the sign. The grill reminds me of Sid the Sloth from Ice Age.
