Hm, that's only 5-6 hours or so from me (maybe more in the Jeep). Wonder if I could get FI'd by then...

The last thing posted over on the mother site was Sambo asking if anybody had any thoughts about moving it to the Carlsbad area

If I make it down south this October it will be to the relocated Chile Challenge in TorC. Still undecided.

I did get the message from Sam about doing Carlsbad as opposed to LC this year.
I'm pretty much playing it one week at a time right now.
Lots going on with both the jeep and the house and much of it depends on other folks timing.
From the looks of the trails around C-Bad there would be no point in going if the jeep is not back together by then.

Can't do it so don't have any say in where or when. I would like to get back there again.

Blake, I will probably be going to Carlsbad in October. Looks like similar stuff as Las Cruces.

If you are interested, send me a message and I can hook you up to the facebook group. There is some pics on the old site (ifsja.org) in the Events->Las Cruces section.
