Saturday:
Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Partly sunny, with a high near 59. Windy, with a west southwest wind 11 to 16 mph increasing to 21 to 26 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 37 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Saturday Night:
A 20 percent chance of showers before 11pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 41. Breezy, with a west wind 16 to 21 mph becoming light west southwest after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 29 mph.
We sure can pick the days.
Toss in the rain gear and long underwear.
The wind will be blowing faster than we can drive on the trail.

Load food , buy fuel in AM.
Let's rock this windy, rainy crap.
I do suggest we camp on the east side at Pioneer Pass since the weather is coming in from the west.
Might be calmer than being on top.

We can make that call when we get there.

All right, I am loaded up. The 'swiss army knife' of jeeps is filled to the gills. Since it will be windy (most likely) I will bring stuff for Cheese crisps but not much else. I also have a pop up loaded as well as a tarp. Hopefully the wind will not be too bad but no matter what, hanging out with you guys works for me regardless of the weather. And the weather will scare most people off, maybe we will have the place to ourselves?

We are all loaded up. Gonna leave about 6:30. That should put us in Globe at 8:30. Enough time to grab something at Mickey Ds and get gas and ice.

I guess the start was just to keep us off the mountain. Great time, the trip back was much easier carb loaded up on me a few times but all good otherwise.
