Fellow Jeeper lost his daughter (AZ)

Post by TUDrewser »

Don't know if any of you know or jeeped with Scott, but he's a fellow baby jeeper over on VJC ("tpsman"). My wife actually went to high school with him. Anyway, his young daughter Gracie (11?) has been in and out of PCH the last several months. She then had a stroke but looked like she was headed for full recovery, with a Bulldog Canyon run planned to celebrate with her last Saturday. However, she made a turn for the worst last week and lost her fight Saturday night.

Info is here, along with details for the memorial: http://www.virtualjeepclub.com/showthre ... acie-s-Run

Just FYI. Tough thing for any parent. :(

I wanted to make the run but am not currently legal. He said she really enjoyed the Jeep'n. My heart pains for their family. So young. Sometimes I think God just takes the best people sooner for reasons unknown. My thoughts and prayers.

I can't imagine anything worse. May our prayers be with them and hope that they have the support to make it through such a devastating ordeal.
